Tired of the store bought iced tea? Tangy and energizing, this lime iced tea is a great pick-me-up in the heat wave of summer afternoons! It's full of flavor and you can't ever go back to the store bought iced tea again. Use green tea to add a caffeinated boost and l-theanine zen to your afternoon.
Strawberry Lime Iced Tea
Makes 1 glass // Prep Time: 2+ hours // Active Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 cup cold brewed green tea. We recommend using the Rocky Mountain SereniTEA's Rocky Mountain High green tea for the perfect flavor
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 1/2 cups strawberries
- 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
- 2 tbsp honey or your sweetener of choice!
- Strawberries and lime wedges for garnish

In a small saucepan combine the water, strawberries, and lime juice and bring to a boil. As soon as it starts boiling, reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Then removed from heat and strain into your glass, pressing on the strawberries to extract maximum goodness. Let cool to cool to room temperature (at least 15 minutes).
Next add in the cold brewed green tea and stir in the honey. Add a handful of ice cubes, garnish with some strawberries and a lime wedge. All it takes is 5 minutes to make this refreshing and delicious strawberry iced tea!
