This delicious granita is blended with Zhi Tea Raspberry Pecan Rooibos, which means it's full of antioxidants and great for settling your stomach! It's also said to reduce bloating and inflammation in the gut, which can be super helpful after a heavy meal. If you love raspberry and rooibos tea, this is the summertime dessert for you!
Raspberry Pecan Rooibos Granita
Makes 8 servings
- 2 1/2 tsp Zhi Tea Raspberry Pecan Rooibos
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1 tbsp honey
Using 2 1/2 tsp of tea leaves, brew 2 cups of Zhi Tea Raspberry Pecan Rooibos. Strain and let the tea cool to room temperature. Add the honey and pineapple juice to the tea and mix well so that everything dissolves.
Pour the mixture into an airtight, freezer-safe container and place it in the freezer. As the tea freezes, scrape the mixture with a fork every 30 minutes for 2-3 hours to create a snow-like texture.
Serve once the granita has reached your desired consistency. Enjoy!
