Earl Grey Palmer

Makes 1 glass // Prep Time: 30 minutes // Active Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 rounded tsp or 1 sachet/bag of Earl Grey. We recommend DAVIDsTEA's Organic Cream of Earl Grey or Ahmad Tea's Earl Grey for the perfect taste
  • 1 cup filtered water
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 2 oz lemonade
  • 2 oz bourbon
  • Crushed ice
  • Lemon wedges and/or mint sprigs for garnish (optional)

Directions to make Earl Grey Palmer

Heat the water to 212°F and steep the Earl Grey tea for 3-5 minutes. Remove tea and let cool to room temperature (about 30 minutes).

In a cocktail shaker combine the honey, lemonade, 4 oz of Earl Grey, bourbon, and a small handful of crushed ice. Shake well for about 10-15 seconds.

Serve over ice cubes, garnish with a lemon wedge and/or mint sprig, and sip away! Tea lover or not, you have to try this Earl Grey Palmer recipe on the next warm summer afternoon.
