Alpine Oolong Tea Sips by Tea Journal

Taiwanese Oolong Tea

Medium Caffeine

How to Make This Tea

  • 1 sachet per 5-8 oz. water
  • Heat water to 203° F or under boiling
  • Steep for 5 min
  • For cold brew: place 1 sachet in 2-3 cups cool water, place in fridge for 4-8 hours and remove the sachet.

Why You'll Love This Tea

Also called "Gaoshan Oolong tea," this oolong is grown in the mountains of central Taiwan, at altitudes of 1,000 meters or higher. Each sachet can make 2-3 cups of tea!

We recommend trying this tea hot-brewed vs cold-brewed and noticing the different flavor notes that result! One sachet can make an entire pitcher of cold-brewed tea. If the resulting brew is too strong, you can always add ice or water to dilute it.

Why You'll Love This Brand

Tea Journal strives to elevate tea product standards and give people a unique tea-drinking experience that includes learning about the tea's origin and story through their website. In addition to their beautiful packaging and high-quality sachets, we love the freshness of Tea Journal's tea. Open up one of their tea packets and you'll know what we mean as soon as you smell the delectable aroma!

Tea Journal is a Taiwan-based tea company and one of the main destinations for Taiwanese teas online since 2018. It is the brainchild of Alan Wu and Vincent Lui. Alan grew up in southern Taiwan and has over 20 years of tea-drinking experience, starting when he was a child enjoying tea with his family. Vincent, originally from Hong Kong, traveled around the world while working in various fields such as airlines, events, and marketing. The two met in Taiwan and discovered they both had a desire to share tea and inspire passion for it!
