Why You'll Love This Brand

We love that when you sip on JusTea's handcrafted Kenyan tea, you are making a difference in the lives of small-scale farmers. We are also excited to introduce Purple Tea to you! This unique variety yields vibrant purple leaves due to high levels of antioxidants - the same ones you'll find in blueberries and pomegranates. It also has low caffeine and tastes delicious. When you add citrus to a cup of purple tea, it changes to a pink color (works best when the tea is unblended)!

Based in Vancouver, JusTea has established Kenya's first small-scale farmer-owned artisanal tea factory. It all started with a trip to Kenya in 2012 when they discovered small-scale tea farmers were only earning about $2 per day - hardly enough to meet their basic needs. Since then, JusTea has created jobs for youth and women tea workers, partnered with a women's herbal tea co-op, employed woodworking families who hand-carve beautiful teaspoons, and more. Plus, they are introducing Kenya's teas to the world - green, black, oolong, and even a new and unique purple tea!
