Young spring first-harvest leaves are partially shade-grown to produce a beautiful emerald jade liquor with umami. Resulting in a tea high in theanine, this Kabuse from the southern Japanese island of Kagoshima results in terroir and labor-intensive tea which produces a unique sweetness with brilliant nuance.
