Wild Wuyi Black Tea

Picked from wild-grown tea trees, this Lapsang Souchong (typically thought of as pine-smoked) is unsmoked, allowing the farmers to showcase the quality of the tea.

Ingredients: Unsmoked Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong Black Tea produced by the Chen family on Huang Gang Mt, Tong Mu, Wuyishan, Fujian, China

Medium caffeine.

Brewing Instructions: 3g or 1.5 tsp | 10 oz water | 194° F | 2 min | resteep several times

Gong Fu Brew:
First Infusion: 4g or 2 tsp tea | 3 oz water | 194° F | 10 sec
Second Infusion: 3 oz water | 194° F | 15 sec
Add 5 seconds for each subsequent infusion.

Each pouch contains 50g loose leaf tea.

Heirloom Tea Co was founded by Henry Duong who found the inspiration for the company during a backpacking trip all around China after finishing university. While visiting the majestic tea fields above West Lake in Hangzhou, the mother of a family farm invited him in for a taste of their Long Jing (Dragonwell) tea - the quality and freshness of the cup she brewed was phenomenal and eye-opening.
