Turtle Dove Sips by white2tea

Pressed White Tea from Yunnan, China. Large Leaf Material.

Low Caffeine

How to Make This Tea

  • 1/2 cake per 8 oz. water
  • Heat water to 185° F or faint steam
  • Steep for 1 min

Why You'll Love This Tea

This pressed white tea is very forgiving with any type of brewing - gongfu or western style. A perfect tea to drink daily without much fuss! Can be aged.

Break a tea "coin" in half and steep for a single cup (remember to re-steep!). Or, try steeping gongfu style in a small pot or gaiwan: 1g leaf per 15ml water. Start with a 5 second steep and then add 5 seconds to each subsequent steep. Too weak? Steep longer. Too strong? Remove some leaf. Notice how the flavor transforms from steep-to-steep.

Why You'll Love This Brand

white2tea's philosophy is "If we would not drink it, we will not sell it (...) We provide the tea. the experience is up to you." They take a no-frills, no-flowery-description approach to great tea, with fun, and ... dare we say ... spunky packaging. We're excited to introduce you to this brand!

white2tea was created by passionate puer devotees who transplanted from the US to China. They're a straightforward brand, with a Scandinavian clean aesthetic and healthy dose of funk.
