The company Cederbos was founded by Corné van der Westhuizen, following the footprints of his dad, Dr Frans van der Westhuizen, who owns the first certified organic rooibos tea farm in South Africa. Cederbos values sustainability and respect of nature, striving to select the highest quality rooibos leaves for its rooibos tea blends and the Cederbos team follows the guidance of the bees when harvesting the rooibos leaves for packaging.
MY RED TEA was founded by Kim Koen, a mom of two boys who lives in Corte Madera CA, but calls South Africa her home. She grew up with rooibos, a naturally caffeine-free beverage that has been used by generations of South Africans as a delicious anytime drink or a soothing elixir. Kim is a massive rooibos fan, not only because it reminds her of home, but also because of the incredible health benefits it provides her whole family. MY RED TEA sources organic rooibos from high in the Cederberg mountains and donates 10% of their profits to support education in their Rooibos farming communities!
