Matcha is a popular garnish or addition to many dishes ranging from breakfast to dessert, but this latte recipe makes matcha the star of the show! This drink is both delicious and energizing, and sure to warm you up on a cold day. Give it a try!
Warm Matcha Latte
Makes 1 latte
- 1 rounded tsp matcha powder
- 1/4 cup boiling water
- 2 tsp gelatin
- 3/4 cup almond milk, steamed or warmed
- raw honey or agave nectar for sweetness
Whisk the matcha powder into the boiling water until it is dissolved. Then, add the gelatin and mix again until smooth.
Add in the honey, agave nectar, or other sweetener if desired. Combine this matcha mixture with the steamed milk and mix well. Drink immediately and enjoy!
