Makes 3-4 glasses // Prep Time: 10 minutes // Active Time: 5 minutes

  • 3 cups filtered water
  • 2 fresh whole garlic cloves, halved
  • 1 rounded tsp loose leaf or 1 sachet/bag lemongrass tea
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup or agave nectar

In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of the water and the garlic cloves to a boil. Remove from heat as soon as the mixture comes to a boil and remove (strain) the garlic.

While the garlic is coming to a boil, heat the remaining 1 cup of water to 212°F and steep lemongrass tea for 4-5 minutes.

Once your garlic "tea" and lemongrass tea are ready, combine them in a large pitcher. Add in the lemon juice and sweetener to taste. Serve warm in 1/2 cup servings and enjoy up to 3 times a day. You can store the rest in the refrigerator to enjoy the next day as well!
