This simple but lively iced tea is very refreshing and hydrating, especially in the summer. It's great for a get together (parties, picnics, BBQ, and more) with close friends, just increase the proportions of the berry iced tea and serve it up!
Sparkling Berry Iced Tea
Makes 1 glass // Prep Time: 5 minutes // Active Time: 5 minutes
- 2 rounded tsp or 2 sachets/tea bags of white tea. We recommend using Cultivate Taste's Flowery Field white tea
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries
- 1/2 cup sparkling mineral water (Topo Chico is a great mineral water to use!)
- Ice cubes for serving
- Strawberries, mint sprigs, and/or lime wedges for garnish
How to make Sparkling Berry Iced Tea
Heat water to 175°F and steep the white tea for 1-3 minutes. Remove tea leaves/ tea bags and set aside to cool.
Purée the strawberries in a blender (with some ice) or in a food processor. Feel free to add in some mint or apple slices while blending the strawberries to add more flavor to this berry iced tea! If you do, be sure to strain the mixture before combining it with the steeped white tea.
Then mix the puréed strawberries into the cooled iced tea. Add a handful of ice cubes, and top with sparkling water. Garnish with some strawberries, mint sprigs, and/or a lime wedge - as always, enjoy the perfect summer drink: this sparkling berry iced tea :)
