These indulgent DAVIDsTEA S'mores Chai Tea-infused Blondies are the fall treat you've been waiting for! Part cookie, part brownie, these blondies feature three mouthwatering layers: a crunchy graham crust, a fudgy tea-infused chocolate middle, and a top layer with fluffy roasted marshmallows. These decadent treats will definitely leave you craving s'more!
S'mores Chai Blondies
Makes 16 squares // Prep Time: 20 minutes // Cook Time: 40 minutes
- 6 Perfect Spoonfuls of DAVIDsTEA S'mores Chai tea (for the blondies)
- ¼ cup butter, melted (for the crust)
- 150 g graham crackers
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup near-boiling water
- ½ cup butter, melted
- ¾ cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup flour
- ½ cup semisweet chopped chocolate or chocolate chips
- 8 marshmallows cut in half (or 1 cup of mini marshmallows)
Preheat oven to 325 F.
Brew tea in ½ cup of near-boiling water for 5 min, then strain into measuring cup and set aside.
Line a 8”x8”x2” baking pan with foil.
Pulse graham crackers in a food processor (or mash them with a rolling pin), then add ¼ cup melted butter and salt and mix well. Transfer mixture into a lined baking pan, pressing firmly into the pan.
Bake for 10 minutes. Remove and let cool while you prepare the rest.
In a bowl, combine sugar, salt, ½ cup of melted butter and ¼ cup of brewed tea and mix until ingredients are well incorporated.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well between additions. Add flour and stir until combined. (Don’t overmix!)
Pour batter over graham crust. Sprinkle chopped chocolate and marshmallows on top. Bake for 25-30 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool for 15 minutes before serving.
