If this gorgeous, vibrant color isn't enough of a reason to convince you to whip up this smoothie, the nutritive value should be! The subtle sweetness of beets and the creaminess of the blended banana give this smoothie an amazing balance of both taste and nutrition.
Power Beet Smoothie
Makes 2 servings
- 1 cup green tea (we recommend sencha!)
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
- 1 raw beet
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 ripe frozen banana
- 1/2 cup assorted frozen berries
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 tbsp honey
Add all of the ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until the mixture is even and smooth. Since this smoothie includes frozen ingredients, it's best served immediately. Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy!
