This sorbet is every peach lover's dream! It's made with fresh peaches and our very own Peaches n' Cream Iced Tea recipe, which uses Rishi Peach Nectar as its base. If you love the taste of sweet peach nectar, give this sorbet a try!
Peach Tea Sorbet
Makes 1 quart
- 2 cups Peaches n' Cream Iced Tea (without ice)
- 3 cups peaches, peeled, pitted, and chopped
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tbsp vodka, preferably sweet tea vodka
Add the peaches to a blender and purée until smooth. Strain the purée into a bowl through a fine mesh sieve, pressing the solids firmly to extract as much liquid as possible. After discarding the solids, you should be left with about 2 cups of strained peach purée.
Add the tea, honey, and vodka to the peach purée and mix until everything is dissolved and well combined. Cover the mixture and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
Churn the chilled mixture in an ice cream maker according to instructions. Once churned, the sorbet will be thick and soft and can be served as is. If you prefer a firmer sorbet, transfer the churned mixture to an airtight, freezer-safe container, press a layer of plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the sorbet, and freeze until firm. Scoop, serve, and enjoy!
