Matcha Ice Cream
Makes 2 cups
Ingredients
- 4 1/2 tsp your favorite matcha!
- 3 tbsp hot water
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk, cold
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
Dissolve the matcha in the hot water and let it cool.
In the meantime, whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks. Mix the green tea mixture with the cold sweetened condensed milk and add in the vanilla extract. Carefully fold the matcha/condensed milk mixture into the heavy cream until everything is well combined.
Transfer the combined ice cream mixture to an airtight, freezer-safe container and cover the surface with plastic wrap. Freeze for at least 6 hours, or overnight.
Before serving the ice cream, allow it to thaw at room temperature for a few minutes. Then, scoop and enjoy!
