This smoothie tastes just like a big scoop of mint-chocolate chip ice cream! And the best part? This treat is totally healthy! We add cacao tea, which is made from the husks of cacao shells - it adds a delicious chocolatey flavor and is packed with antioxidants, minerals and vitamins. This smoothie is thick, creamy, and filled with nutrient-dense, body-fueling ingredients. You won't even notice all the veggies you'll be drinking!
Mint Chip Green Smoothie
Makes 1 serving
- 1/2 cup brewed mint herbal tea
- 1/2 cup brewed MiCacao Cacao Tea
- 1 ripe, frozen banana
- 1 cup baby spinach leaves
- 1/2 cup destemmed kale leaves
- 1/2 avocado
- 20 fresh mint leaves
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
- 4 ice cubes
- 1 tbsp cacao nibs
- whipped cream for garnish
Add all of the ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until the mixture is even and smooth. Since this smoothie includes frozen ingredients, it's best served immediately. Pour the smoothie into a glass, top with whipped cream, and enjoy!
