Lioness Blend

Relieve your body with this detoxifying blend of dandelion and stinging nettle tea, with a hint of lime and honey/agave to lighten the taste. Although dandelion may not taste the best, its health properties are impressive. It is known to reduce bloating while also increasing the body’s absorption of vitamins A, C, and E as well as minerals like iron and potassium. Dandelion also promotes healthy digestion and hydration levels, which helps release the body of toxins. Additionally, stinging nettle has antioxidant properties and promotes normal blood pressure. Relish in the goodness of this cup and absorb the benefits of this blend fit for a lioness!

Makes 2 servings // Prep Time: 10 minutes // Active Time: 5 minutes

  • 2 cups filtered water
  • 1 rounded tsp loose leaf or 1 sachet/bag dandelion tea
  • 1 rounded tsp loose leaf or 1 sachet/bag stinging nettle tea
  • 2-3 tsp freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2-3 tsp honey or agave nectar or maple syrup

Heat the water to 212°F and steep both teas together for 5-10 minutes (cover your tea while it's steeping to keep all the goodness from escaping!). Remove teas and add in the lime juice and sweetener to taste. Enjoy the boldness of this blend!
