Hibiscus flowers are beautiful on their own but they're also beautiful as a tart and tangy iced tea treat. Sip on this deep purple combination to feel like you're sitting out on the beach in the tropics somewhere.
Hibiscus Berry Iced Tea
Makes 1 glass // Prep Time: 5 minutes // Active Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 rounded tsp or 1 sachet/bag of hibiscus tea
- 1 cup filtered water
- 1/4 cup cranberry juice
- Ice cubes for serving
- Mint leaves and/or fresh cranberries for garnish
Directions
Heat water to 212°F and steep tea for 5 minutes. Remove tea and set aside to cool to room temperature.
When the tea is cooled enough, combine the tea and cranberry juice. Add in a handful of ice cubes, garnish with mint leaves and/or fresh cranberries and sip away! Feel free to add some honey in there too :)
