Whip out those copper mugs and put ‘em to good use for this trendy green tea Moscow mule. It’s just like a classic and classy Moscow mule, but this version has just a dash of green tea to go with the green theme of the lime and the mint. Super refreshing and festive, this cocktail is perfect for a small cocktail night in with friends.

Green Tea Moscow Mule

Makes 2 glasses // Prep Time: 5 minutes // Active Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 copper mugs to be fancy
  • 1/2 cup filtered water
  • 1 sachet green tea with peppermint
  • Ice for serving
  • 4 oz vodka
  • 4 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
  • Ginger beer
  • Lime wedges and mint sprigs for garnish

Directions

Heat the water to 175°F and steep the tea for 2-3 minutes (cover the tea to keep all the goodness inside!). Remove tea sachet and set aside to cool (about 5 minutes). You may also steep the tea a few hours ahead of time and place in the fridge so it's cool enough to not be diluted by ice.

Fill each copper mug with ice cubes and pour 2 oz vodka in each. Then pour in 2 tbsp lime juice each, and 2 oz of the green tea each. Top with ginger beer, give them a stir, and garnish with lime wedges and mint sprigs. Enjoy!
