Whip out those copper mugs and put ‘em to good use for this trendy green tea Moscow mule. It’s just like a classic and classy Moscow mule, but this version has just a dash of green tea to go with the green theme of the lime and the mint. Super refreshing and festive, this cocktail is perfect for a small cocktail night in with the girls.
Green Tea Moscow Mule
Makes 2 glasses // Prep Time: 5 minutes // Active Time: 5 minutes
- 2 copper mugs to be fancy
- 1/2 cup filtered water
- 1 rounded tsp loose leaf or 1 sachet/bag green tea tea
- Ice for serving
- 4 oz vodka
- 4 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
- Ginger beer
- Lime wedges and mint sprigs for garnish
Heat the water to 175°F and steep green tea for 2-3 minutes (cover the tea to keep all the goodness inside!). Remove (strain) tea and set aside to cool (about 5 minutes).
Fill each copper mug with ice cubes and pour 2 oz vodka in each. Then pour in 2 tbsp lime juice each, and 2 oz of the green tea each. Top with ginger beer, give them a stir, and garnish with lime wedges and mint sprigs. Enjoy!
