Matcha is an amazing ingredient to toss into smoothies for it's health benefits, a boost of energy, and that green tea flavor. It fits right in with green theme of this super healthy smoothie! With the help of matcha, almond butter, and banana, you won't even notice all of the veggies you're drinking up.

Glowing Green Matcha Smoothie

Makes 1 large serving or 2 small servings


  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • 1 cup light coconut milk
  • 3/4 cup destemmed kale leaves
  • 2 handfuls baby spinach
  • 1 ripe frozen banana
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 3 ice cubes


Add all of the ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until the mixture is even and smooth. Since this smoothie includes frozen ingredients, it's best served immediately. Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy!
