If you enjoy some swanky cucumber water, you’ll love this even swankier cucumber green tea cocktail. This is a light, refreshing, almost hydrating concoction that allows for some experimentation - the big choice between vodka or sake. So venture out, be creative and daring, and let us know how you spruced your spiked cucumber water in the comments!

Cucumber Green Tea Fizz

Makes 6-8 glasses // Prep Time: 8+ hours // Active Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 3 rounded tsp or 3 sachets/bags of green tea
  • 3 cups filtered water
  • 1/2 cup peeled cucumber rounds
  • 1/4 cup packed fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup lemon/lime juice
  • 5 tbsp honey
  • 2 cups vodka or sake
  • 2 cups club soda
  • Cucumber rounds and/or mint sprigs for garnish

Directions

Heat the water to 175°F and steep tea for 2-3 minutes. Remove tea and set aside to cool. Once the tea is cooled to room temperature (about 30 minutes), add in the cucumber rounds and let infuse in the refrigerator over night (8+ hours).

In a large pitcher combine the mint leaves and lemon/lime juice and muddle with a wooden spoon. Next, add in the chilled cucumber and green tea infusion as well as the honey, and stir well to dissolve the honey.

Next add in the vodka or sake (feel free to experiment!) and stir well. Serve over ice cubes, top each cocktail with 2 oz club soda, and garnish with cucumber rounds and/or mint sprigs. Enjoy, friends :)
