Any cinnamon lover out there will appreciate this decadent and unique snowflake of a shake. Cinnamon tea has wonderful health benefits from aiding digestion, promoting weight loss, and can be a good preventative measure from catching the flu or a cold. Putting into a milkshake may not give you the same benefits, but it tastes so good. Cinnamon tea is great by itself too, so if you love cinnamon and haven’t had any cinnamon tea yet, it’s high time you tried some.

Cinnamon Snowflake Shake

Makes 1 glass // Prep Time: 15 minutes // Active Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup filtered water
  • 1 rounded tsp loose leaf or 1 sachet/bag cinnamon tea
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Directions

Heat the water to 212°F and steep cinnamon tea for 5-10 minutes (cover the tea to keep all the goodness inside!). Remove (strain) tea and set aside to cool to room temperature (about 15 minutes).

Once the tea has cooled down, combine everything in a blender and blend it up! Top with whipped cream and enjoy your very decadent cinnamon shake!
