Chamomile Key Lime Smoothie

Key lime pie is such a classic spring and summertime treat, but it isn't always easy on our waistlines. Try this lighter take on the scrumptious dessert - it's got the same tart flavor with a delicious creamy texture and the added bonus of some protein! A few graham cracker crumbs make this smoothie even more authentic.

Chamomile Key Lime Smoothie

Makes 1 serving


  • 1/2 cup strongly brewed chamomile tea
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1 ripe, frozen banana
  • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
  • 2 tbsp key lime juice
  • zest of 1 key lime
  • 1/2 cup vanilla greek yogurt
  • 5 ice cubes
  • whipped cream and graham cracker crumbs for garnish


Add all of the ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until the mixture is even and smooth. Since this smoothie includes frozen ingredients, it's best served immediately. Pour the smoothie into a glass, top with whipped cream and graham cracker crumbs, and enjoy!
