Give this cocktail a try the next time you feel like a caramel apple but don’t want to go through the hassle of actually making one. The deliciousness of a caramel apple in the form of this flavorful drink is brought together by a drop of caramel vodka, a smidgen of cider, and a bit of black tea. Perfect for your next Halloween bash or holiday festivity.

Caramel Apple Spirits

Makes 8-10 glasses // Prep Time: 1 day // Active Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

Caramel Vodka

  • 1 750ml bottle of vodka
  • 10 caramel squares (the chewy kind work best!)

Party Cocktail Bowl

  • 2 1/2 cups caramel vodka
  • 5 oz (10 tbsp) maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 cups strongly brewed black tea (Check out this organic option: Colombian Black Tea by Bitaco.)
  • 2 cups spiced apple cider
  • Apple slices for garnish (optional)

Directions

Caramel Vodka

In an airtight (sealable) glass container (a large mason jar works well) combine the vodka and the caramel squares and let infuse at room temperature overnight, gently shaking the jar occasionally to ensure an even mixture. The caramel will fully dissolve within 24 hours and you get super creamy caramel vodka - yum! You can certainly use this concoction for other fun cocktails, let your creativity run wild!

Party Cocktail Bowl

In a large punch bowl, combine the caramel vodka and maple syrup and stir until the syrup is dissolved. Then add in the tea, apple cider, and enough ice to keep it chilled without diluting the mix too much, and stir well. Garnish each cocktail with an apple slice and enjoy!
