Cardamom & Coffee French Toast Latte
Makes 2 lattes
Ingredients
- 2 tea bags of chai - like Sweet Cinnamon by Vahdam Teas!
- 1 cup hot water
- 2 cups hot milk
- Coffee liqueur like Kahlua (optional)
- Maple syrup (optional)
Directions
Steep tea in 1 cup of hot water for 5 minutes.
While the tea is steeping, bring milk to a low boil in a small saucepan and whisk to get it frothy. You can also use a frother if you have one.
Divide steeped tea between two 12 oz mugs – about ½ cup each.
Fill mugs with heated milk and top each with 1 oz coffee liqueur and a drizzle of maple syrup. Now that’s what we call brunch done right.
