Blackberry Peach Sangria

Makes 8-10 glasses // Prep Time: 5 minutes - 1 hour // Active Time: 10 minutes

  • 4 tea bags or 4 heaping tbsp of white tea
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • 3-4 white peaches (washed and sliced)
  • 2 cups blackberries (washed)
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2-3 tbsp of organic brown sugar or honey
  • 1 750ml bottle of white wine: Cava or Prosecco (Torrontés, Chenin Blanc, Riesling, or Pinot Grigio also do well)
  • ¼ cup of brandy
  • Ice for serving
  • Peach slices and mint sprigs for garnish (optional of course, but it does make it look pretty)

Heat water to 175°F-185°F and steep tea for 3-4 minutes. Then remove tea bags or leaves and set aside to cool.

Combine peach slices, blackberries, lemon juice, sugar/honey, tea, wine, and brandy in a large pitcher.

Chill for an hour in the refrigerator before serving over ice and garnishing with peach slices and mint sprigs :) (If you're using a bubbly wine like Prosecco, it's best to serve immediately)
