Blackberry Mint Iced Tea

Nothing tastes like summer than a bunch of juicy blackberries (besides maybe watermelon). Combined with black tea and mint, this iced tea is bursting with flavor! Follow the recipe below to learn how to make a tasty berry flavored mint iced tea.

Blackberry Mint Iced Tea

Makes 6-8 glasses of mint iced tea// Prep Time: 1 hour // Active Time: 10 minutes

  • 5 rounded tsp or 5 sachets/bags black tea. We recommend using Arogya's Ancient Forest Yunnan for a subtle tea flavor
  • 5 cups filtered water
  • 1/4 packed fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup sugar or 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 lbs (32 oz) blackberries
  • Ice for serving
  • Mint sprigs and/or blackberries for garnish

How to make Blackberry Mint Iced Tea

In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil. As soon as it begins to boil, remove from heat and add in the black tea leaves and mint leaves. Cover the saucepan with a lid, let the tea bags and mint steep for 3-5 minutes. Then strain the tea mixture into a large pitcher.

Next add in the honey/sugar to the pitcher and stir to make sure it all disolves. Purée the blackberries in a blender or food processor and strain into the pitcher, pressing on the blackberries to extract maximum flavor. Taste and add more honey/sugar as needed!

Cover the pitcher and chill for 1 hour. Serve this amazing blackberry tea over ice and garnish with a mint spring and some blackberries to enjoy the best summer mocktail!
