The black tea in this blend adds an extra energy boost to this already energizing smoothie with tons of vitamin C present in cherries, making it the perfect breakfast smoothie. Black Cherry Almond Smoothie
Makes 1 glass // Prep Time: 5 minutes // Active Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 rounded tsp or 1 sachet/bag black tea
- 1/2 cup filtered water
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1/4 cup plain Green yogurt
- 1 cup pitted cherries
- 1 fresh or frozen banana
- 3 tbsp whole almonds
- 2 tsp honey
Directions
Heat the water to 212°F and steep the tea for 3-5 minutes. Remove tea and set aside to cool.
When the tea is cool enough, toss it all in the blender and blend yourself a breakfast smoothie!
