Tea Beauty Hack: White Tea Rice Mask

white tea rice mask

Fall marks the beginning of our transition from summer heat to chilly winter weather. As you pull out your cozy sweaters and tall boots, remember to update your skincare routine just as you do with your wardrobe! This white tea rice mask is a great place to start. Everyone knows the benefits of drinking white tea but don't realize that applying white tea for skin-care is a hidden trick. Moisturizing banana and the natural anti-wrinkle properties of white tea will help to keep your skin youthful and protected during this season! Read along to find one of the best tea face masks that relies heavily on white tea benefits.

  • 3 tbsp white tea. We recommend using non-flavored white tea like Tea Bai Mudan's White Tea
  • 3 tbsp rice flour
  • 1 tbsp mashed banana

Combine the ingredients to form a smooth, spreadable paste. Add more tea if the mixture is too thick or more flour if it is too runny.

Wash your face as you normally would and pat dry. With your fingers or a clean brush, apply the mask to your face in an even layer. Let it sit on your skin for 15-20 minutes and then rinse it off with warm water. Rub your skin in circular motions to exfoliate as you wash the mask off. Voila! Your tea facial mask with white tea skin benefits is ready. Finish with your favorite moisturizer!
