If you're interested in skincare, you've probably heard of toner. It's the vitally important yet often overlooked component of a good skincare routine that many are intimidated or confused by. But, we're here to show you that toner doesn't have to be intimidating or confusing at all! In fact, you can make some in your own kitchen with ingredients you probably already have, including black tea. Give it a try!

TEA TREE TONER

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 3 tbsp brewed black tea
  • 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 6 drops tea tree oil
  • small spray bottle

WHAT TO DO

In a small bowl, combine the apple cider vinegar and brewed black tea. Pour this mixture into the spray bottle and then add the tea tree oil directly to the mixture in the bottle. Screw the top on to the bottle and give it a good shake to mix everything together.

To use the toner, begin by washing your face as you normal would. Next, you can either spray the toner directly onto your face or spray it onto a cotton round and wipe it onto your skin. Let the toner dry for about a minute and follow with your favorite moisturizer. Use this toner every time you wash your face to tighten pores and fight blemishes!
