Tea Beauty: Black Tea Hair Rinse

black tea hair rinse

Winter weather doesn't just affect our skin -it can make our hair dull, dry, and brittle as well. But don't fear, we're here to show you a super simple way to restore the shine in your lovely locks!

BLACK TEA HAIR RINSE

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

WHAT TO DO

In a large pot, bring the water to a boil and then add in the tea bags. Remove the pot from heat and let the tea steep until it comes to room temperature (about an hour). Discard the teabags.

Dip all of your hair into the pot and then pour the remaining tea throughout your hair. Make sure your hair is fully saturated with tea (we recommend doing this step in the shower or over a sink). Once saturated, wrap your hair in a towel and wait at least half an hour. Finish by washing and conditioning your hair as you normally would.

This rinse will help to restore strength, luster, and shine to dry and damaged hair. Use this method daily for a week, and then as you need, for best results!
