Tea Hair Dye for Redheads


  • 4 rooibos tea bags
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 tbsp of hibiscus


In a pot, bring water to a boil and then add in tea bags and hibiscus. Cover the pot and let steep for 20 minutes. Remove from heat, allow the infusion to cool, and strain out the tea bags and hibiscus. Shampoo hair with hot water and apply infusion to hair. Leave the tea in your hair for at least half an hour before rinsing it out. This method requires several days to see changes. Repeat this process every two days for a week, and then once a week until you achieve your desired results. This tea rinse will deepen the shade of your hair, giving it natural highlights and lowlights as well as a beautiful shine.
