Cold Brew Cosmo

Close your eyes while you're sipping on this calorie and sugar free version of Cary Bradshaw's go-to: the Cosmopolitan. Hibiscus Flowers, when dried and infused in water, have a naturally tart and sweet flavor. So basically, calorie-free cranberry juice. We wanted to compliment this delicious caffeine-free herb with lime juice, vodka, and a splash of Cointreau. Stir one up and let us know what you think!

Cold Brew Cosmo

Makes 4 glasses // Prep Time: 4 hours // Active Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 tea bags (or 4 tbsp loose leaf) hibiscus tea
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • 4 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 cup (8 oz) vodka
  • Splash of Cointreau
  • Ice for serving
  • Mint sprigs for garnish (if you like)

Directions

In a large pitcher, pour cold filtered water over tea bags or leaves and let steep in the refrigerator for 4 hours. Learn more about How To Cold Brew Tea.

After the leaves have steeped, remove the tea bags or leaves (if it's loose leaf, strain the tea). If your pitcher is large enough, add the lime juice, vodka, and cointreau (you may need to transfer over to a larger pitcher).

Serve over ice, garnish with mint, and enjoy a taste :)
