Hello, Spring

March transitions us from winter to spring, from cold to warmth, and from a cozy and quiet indoor life, to getting outside with friends and nature.  Here are our four favorite winter-to-spring transitional teas that many of you received this month.

THREE TULSI Sips by PUKKA

Sacred is the herb that shows you the way.  India calls her 'Holy Basil', for it's here that tulsi is legendary.  For you, wherever you are, she's ready to weave her magic.  First, verdant green tulsi for sweeping away the clutter, then purple tulsi for uplifting the spirits, and to finish, lemon tulsi with a zesty twist to inspire you onwards.  Take these sips with the intention of finding inner clarity. Three Tulsi is a great tea for pre or post yoga or meditation. Learn more about tulsi, the herb, here

LIQUORICE AND MINT Sips by TEAPIGS

Two public enemies in the transition from winter-to-spring include seasonal allergies, and getting body-confident to shed those winter layers. If you're in need of a super comforting, guilt-free, sweet treat or want a comforting, caffeine-free tea to lift you up from allergies, look no further than this Liquorice and Mint tea containing liquorice root and peppermint.  We weren't crazy about a licorice tea at the onset, but were open to trying it given the hope that this tea could kick our sweet tooth to the curb, and alleviate the discomforts associated with allergies - we found ourselves wanting to keep sipping, and then have another cuppa (good thing there are two sachets in the adorable Piglet sample!).

DARK ROAST YAUPON Sips by CAT SPRING YAUPON TEA

Yaupon is the *only* native North American caffeinated plant. We think it's refreshing, all-natural, and delicious - and appreciate Cat Spring's wild harvested, responsibly processed, Texas-grown cuppas.  The dark roast is naturally sweet and smooth and is also known as Marfa (you know - that cool town in the middle-of-nowhere Texas, outside of Austin) - a great spot to go glamping and sit outside near a campfire sipping on some Cat Spring Dark Roast Yaupon.  Perfect for this time of year. Who's in?

RUBY OOLONG Sips by RISHI

This full-bodied oolong tea feels like one last long goodbye to winter. Deeply oxidized and slowly baked to bring out complex layers of cacao, raisins, and black cherry with a sublime, elegant structure, Ruby Oolong is an excellent introduction to the world of oolong tea. Note its deliciously sweet caramelized fruit and chocolate aromas that permeate the air as soon as it is brewed; and pair it with dark meat dishes, or any recipe that involves maple syrup - then say hello to spring.
