These vibrant strawberry popsicles will catch anyone's eye! They're light on calories, but still bursting with juicy strawberry flavor. These pops are a cool and refreshing green tea infusion - the perfect way to beat the heat!
Strawberry Green Tea Popsicles
Makes 6 popsicles
- 1 tbsp loose leaf green tea
- 2 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup strawberries
- 2 tsp lime juice
In a small sauce pan, bring the water to a boil. Turn off the heat and add the tea leaves, honey, 1/4 cup of strawberries, and lime juice. Stir well and let steep for 7-8 minutes.
Next, mash the mixture and pour it through a fine strainer to remove the leaves and strawberry seeds. Divide the remaining 1/4 cup of strawberries evenly among the popsicle molds and place them directly in each mold. Carefully pour the brewed tea mixture into each mold, insert popsicle sticks, and freeze for at least 6 hours (preferably overnight).
Once set, remove the popsicles from the molds and enjoy!
