Wherever you are in the world, this bellini will transport you straight to Venice. We enjoy this recipe made with a jasmine green tea (we used Zhi's the first time we made this and Rishi's the second time). Give it a try and let us know what you think!
White Peach Green Tea Bellini
Makes 1 glass // Prep Time: 10 minutes // Active Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 tsp or 1 sachet green tea
- 1 cup filtered water
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ white peach, chopped into cubes
- 2 oz gin
- 4 oz prosseco
- Ice for serving
- White peach slices for garnish
Directions
Heat water to 185°F and steep tea for 2-3 minutes. Then remove tea bag or leaves and set aside to cool.
Place the sugar in a shallow bowl or plate, moisten the rim of the cocktail glass with a peach slice, and dip it into the sugar to coat the rim.
Next muddle the peach cubes in the sugar rimmed glass. Add in the gin, prosecco, and 4 oz of the tea. Add a couple of ice cubes, garnish with peach slices, and have a lovely trip to Venice :)
