Mango Burst Iced Tea

You may not be able to taste the white tea flavors coming through the mango but having white tea as a base still gives you all the benefits of drinking it straight, with of course the added benefits of the fruit juice. This iced tea is also great with black tea, if you’d like more of a tea flavor to shine through. Any way you can reimagine this recipe, this tropical treat is a terrific afternoon refreshment.

Mango Burst Iced Tea

Makes 1 glass // Prep Time: 5 minutes // Active Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 rounded tsp or 2 sachets/bags white tea
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup mango juice
  • 1 tsp freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/4 cup frozen mango chunks
  • Ice cubes
  • 1/4 cup sparkling water
  • Lime wedges for garnish

Directions

Heat water to 175°F-185°F and steep tea for 1-3 minutes. Remove tea and set aside to cool to room temperature.

In your glass combine the mango juice, lime juice, and cooled tea. Add in a few ice cubes and the frozen mango chunks. Top with sparkling water, garnish with a wedge of lime, and sip away!
